When I send the document by mail, or use a mailto:, and use other than the
standard display character set (*), it would be nice to have the MIME
message headers there:
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=(current display charset)
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8BIT
(*) I'm not sure whether to use the charset marking when the charset is
default, ISO-8859-1. Probably too.
