The second set of lines from the top-level `makefile' don't
make a lot of sense to me:
##this is the name of the directory the lynx source code is in.
##(e.g. lynx2-7-1, not the full path)
lynxdir= lynx2-7-1
##this is the name of the directory the lynx source code is in.
##(e.g. lynx2-7, not the full path)
lynxname= lynx2-7-1
