Talking about what "terminal(s)" do or do not work with Lynx is pointless.
The description of what a specific terminal type can or cannot do comes
(at least for Unix[-like] systems) from terminfo or termcap files.
Those seem to have a long history of containing bogus information, with
lots of differences between systems and versions. As a result, what is
"vt100" for me may be quite different from what is "vt100" for you.
And *of course* the $TERM or `-term=' should be the right one for the
terminal or emulator you *are* using. It doesn't help much if you set
`-term=ansi', even if "ansi" describes a terminal type with color support,
if your emulator supports colors in a different way.
