That's a good idea, but it won't fix this particular problem.
The fix we have won't help if /tmp is not sticky, but non-stickyness
is not Lynx's problem.
LYNX-DEV advising people to set the sticky bit on /tmp is akin
to LYNX-DEV advising people that they shouldn't make their home
directories mode 777...
