thanks. I mainly want to know whether those extra #define's are really
needed if the compiler's running in ANSI-compatible mode (since I'd a
report wrt ncurses last year that this was the case):
-D_INCLUDE_HPUX_SOURCE
-D_INCLUDE_POSIX_SOURCE
-D_INCLUDE_AES_SOURCE
-D_INCLUDE_XOPEN_SOURCE
If that was right, you should be able to build with "make generic" rather
than "make snake2" or "make snake3".
