i had no difficulty just now accessing the site,
but there is a warning that they have been having hardware problems;
i did not try filling in their form.

you should get the latest 2-8 (which i was using),
which has advanced a lot in  12 mths  since 2-7-1:
goto  www.slcc.edu/lynx/release .
if that still doesn't work, let us know again,
giving details of just what you tried at the site.
