1. There are some devices that make tables bimodal, i.e. format
attractively in both Lynx and GUI browsers. Some of these are
documented in the thread you get into if you start at

2. Unfortunately, if you want to worry about access to your
information by people with disabilities, there are enough of them
out there without Lynx and with a dumb interface between their
browser and their screen reader so that unrolling the table
yourself on an alternate [conventionally known as "text only"]
page will help to reach more of everybody than just making it
work in Lynx, which is relatively easy.
