lynx-dev problems in the latest lynx

After I've build dev25, patched it with the leak patches and my cookie patch,
I am finding a problem. Actually a couple of problems.
The first is that formatting is hosed:

Notice that the word "you" crosses the boundary?
Another problem, that I can't recreate, is that when I type the numbers of
links, I occasionally find I am going to a link next to the one I selected.
I type 13 and go to link 14, etc.
Neither of these appear to be a problem with the HTML - things have been
working fine for weeks. I will have to go back and rebuild the original
dev25 to see if I see the same problems.
