Thanks, Michael, you may have found the problem.  I had wondered about
this also since SAVE_SPACE is set to /dev/null.  In anonymous with the
restrictions in place, there should be no need for a real SAVE_SPACE.
Will check out, but probably will have to be tomorrow (large typhoon
scheduled to hit later this afternoon).
