Subject: lynx-dev Want MAILCAP not in user's home directory

My command line:
----------------

C:\users>z:\parts\sf-000\sf-000-0001\lynx.exe
  -trace \
  -cfg z:\parts\sf-000\sf-000-0001\simpact_lynx.cfg
  z\parts\ht-101\ht-101-0001.html

>From the config file:
---------------------

PERSONAL_MAILCAP:simpact_mailcap.dat

Here is part of the trace file:
-------------------------------

  Lynx Trace Log

LYNX_SIG_FILE set to 'C:\TEMP/.lynxsig'
Loading cfg file 'z:\parts\sf-000\sf-000-0001\simpact_lynx.cfg'.
HTMLDTD: Copying DTD element info of size 5192, 118 * 44
ProcessMailcapFile: Loading file '/usr/local/lib/mosaic/mailcap'.
ProcessMailcapFile: Could not open '/usr/local/lib/mosaic/mailcap'.
ProcessMailcapFile: Loading file 'C:\TEMP/simpact_mailcap.dat'.
ProcessMailcapFile: Could not open 'C:\TEMP/simpact_mailcap.dat'.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

I see from the trace that the mailcap file is found in the default
directory which was C:\user. I would like to point to a on the same
drive as the config file specified in the command line. Is there
a was in the config file to make such a reference? Otherwise can I
just specifiy the mailcap file from the command line? From the
command line the script that invokes lynx know what drive the config
and the mailcap file live on.

I am creating a CD-ROM that uses web pages as the interface for accessing
release notes, the software and the manuals in PDF format. This is
so that the same CD-ROM can be sent to Windows NT, Unix and VMS customers.
I am inclding lynx for these various systems just in case they do
not have a browser. Also for Windows NT and VMS untar programs.
