IDEA: maybe while we are in such an area, show on-screen
a "now at line 3 of 10" or abbrev of that.
Where?
. prefix to mode-line?
. prefix to that top title/page-num line?
or maybe even some ^V-key that temporarily overlays
the current fill-in line with that info?
