It doesn't look particularly worse than much of the commercial crap
that's out there.  It's more the content that is sickening.  Particularly
if you remember that www.internic.net once was a repository of useful
technical information.  For example the RFC directory under
www.internic.net/rfc/ one day disappeared without a trace or a
redirection.

Which brings us back to lynx: lynx_help_main.html still has a link to
<http://ds.internic.net/rfc/rfc1945.txt>.  That should be replaced
(I use <ftp://ftp.isi.edu/in-notes/rfc1945.txt>).

There are more URLs pointing to internic.net, at least in
Lynx_users_guide.html and lynx_url_support.html.

Since you didn't give us any URL, I wouldn't mind a summary...

As far as I'm concerned, this is just like WebTechs: a once useful site
now replaced by an obscene one.
