does not work with proxy:

$ http_proxy="http://tammi.fw.datanet.tele.fi:80";
$ export http_proxy
$ /usr/local/bin/lynx http://www.ibm.com

STATUS LINE:

        Alert!: HTTP/1.0 400 Host Required In Request
