I only know it worked with dev.8. Yes, I skipped dev.9 (on
Cygwin, not Linux)...
I see 'g' + ~ 'g' + / 'g' + // fail.
'g' + ~~~ ($HOME) and 'g' + /// (root Cygwin) work.
