probably not - I recall looking at that & thinking something must be missing.
But I was not familiar with the original page.

Which one (excite or lycos)?  I get equivalent treatment from both with
lynx/elinks/w3m.  But I didn't try creating an account.

I would suppose that's because it bypasses something.
