[Lynx-dev] Accept types (www.facespan.com)

I am unable to view http://www.facespan.com/ in Lynx.

It seems that Lynx advertises that it can accept gzip, so the 
Pagespeed system sends out compressed pages. Lynx refuses to display 
these pages, and instead prompts to download.

What should I do? Is there a way to tell Lynx not to advertise gzip acceptance?
