I'm having trouble accessing google.com with lynx.
I get a 'http 1.0/400 bad request' error. It also
happens for google.co.uk.
I tested the same with google.fr , google.com.tr , gmail.com and the
72.14.207.99 IP. It returns the same error, and then
Google
Error
Bad Request
Your client has issued a malformed or illegal request.
I'm running
lynx 2.8.5rel.1
on
Linux 2.6.12-x86_08doc
And me:
Lynx Version 2.8.5rel.1 (04 Feb 2004)
libwww-FM 2.14, SSL-MM 1.4.1, GNUTLS 1.2.9
Built on linux-gnu Mar 2 2006 16:43:09
a uname -a returns:
Linux elrascle-desktop 2.6.15-27-386 #1 PREEMPT Sat Sep 16 01:51:59 UTC
2006 i686 GNU/Linux
actually Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake.
Interestingly, I remember I've read my e-mail on gmail.com happily a few
weeks ago without any problem using the same version of Lynx. Sounds
strange.
Hope this additional information will help in some way.
