busybox 1.33 has been released it would be nice see an updated patch.

Something that would help increase lzip's popularity, most people no
longer follow mailing lists

- a github organization: lzip, with several repos
- merge all the C++ lzip variants into a single package and add
switches like --disable-plzip
- the C version should have the lzip name, it's possible to compile
small static binaries for a bunch of architectures, I compiled it for
i686, x86_64, armv6l and aarch64.

(the same applies ddrescue)
