        I fixed it. The CVSROOT/commitinfo was missing a line and the
CVSROOT/loginfo had an extra \. Could you please test that it works properly ?
For the record, note that you can fix these glitch yourself since every
developer of m4 has access to the CVSROOT files for the m4 repository. From
my own experience it's not easy to figure out if you're not a CVS expert
though :-}>
