I find this a bad news.  All we win is the fact that some people will
develop modules using an obsolete interface, and their code won't work
with 1.5.  Users and maintainers are likely to pay the price.

I still have rage against those who came on *my very private* ftp,
took something named Autoconf 2.14.1, and shipped it.
