I will give you some immediate relief and change the owner address to
our team address listhelper-moderate AT gnu DOT org where we already
filter all of those out. So it is no trouble at all there.

This should stop the spam hitting your main email immediately. And I
am not worried about identity theft for that change. Since that is a
good default setting regardless.

If you are game please let's try a test of a very little known
feature. One that I only recently learned of myself. Log into
Savannah. That fulfills the identity check. Then go to your project
page on Savannah.

  https://savannah.gnu.org/projects/teseq/

Then from there select the [Mailing list] from the navigation area.

  https://savannah.gnu.org/mail/?group=teseq

Then from there select [Configure] from the navigation area.

  https://savannah.gnu.org/mail/admin/?group=teseq

Then from there check the checkbox:

  Reset List Admin Password:
[X] Requested - this will have no effect if this list is not managed by
Mailman via Savane

Then select the [Submit] button at the bottom.

Although I expect this will work I don't actually know if it has been
tested at all recently. And there have been many server backend
changes recently that might have broken this functionality. It would
help us out if you were to give this a live production test and let us
know how this works for you. It will be interesting either way.

Thanks!
Bob
