I've released man-db 2.6.6.

Description
-----------

man-db contains an implementation of the man command, which is the
primary way of examining the on-line help files (manual pages). Other
utilities provided include the whatis and apropos commands for searching
the manual page database, the manpath utility for determining the manual
page search path, and the maintenance utilities mandb, catman and
zsoelim. The package requires a troff installation, such as groff (GNU
troff) to format and display the manual pages.

Version control change
----------------------

man-db is now version-controlled using git:

  http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/man-db.git

About this release
------------------

This release fixes the "apropos --and" option (broken in 2.6.2), passes
language tags to groff again (broken in 2.6.5), and restores
compatibility with Automake 1.10.

There is now a "--with-override-dir" configure option that arranges to
look for manual pages in a particular subdirectory of each path element
before looking in that path element itself. Thanks to Peter Schiffer.

For full details, please see the files NEWS and ChangeLog in the source
distribution.
