Yes. I don't think we should keep around "Update <language> translation"
tasks anyway, as those would be constantly open to track updates and
changes in the codebase.

It's not done yet, it's in testing (see my update).

That's not done. I've started rewriting the daemon, and that's one of
the features I'm heading for.
