Heh, M4 was missing; adding it solves the problem (a ‘configure’
diagnostic would be handy IMO.)
For the record it builds on all platforms supported by Nixpkgs except
Darwin and Cygwin: <http://hydra.nixos.org/job/nixpkgs/trunk/mitscheme>.
