There are a handful of tests that fail on GNU/Linux and.Mac systems. I have a to-do to look into this but haven't done anything about it.

I installed that (am using Debian 10 stable) and no longer got the compilation errors.

However, some tests in "env FAST=y make check" seemed to fail [1].
