How to install/run MIT Scheme 10.1.11 on MacBookAir mid 2009 under Mac O

Dear all!

I have downloaded and installed MIT Scheme 10.1.11 on MacBookAir mid 2009 under Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 (64 bit.)

I cannot run it receiving a message: The application requires OS X 10.15 or later.

How can I get it to run, given an update of the computer/OS is not an option?
Should I choose some previous version of MIT Scheme (which one?)
or
Should I recompile version 10.1.11 from source on my laptop (how)?
