I'm attempting to build a Debian package for the stable environment
and while the scheme interpreter is building okay I'm having a bit of
trouble during the scheme compilation phase:
Don't bother doing this -- it won't work. You need a current version
of the Scheme compiler to compile the current sources. Instead,
download the binaries from
Instead, follow the instructions in
http://www.gnu.org/software/mit-scheme/other-unix.html
applying the patch I sent you before you start compiling the
microcode.
Once you have done that, if you still want a .deb, you will be able to
compile one.
