Did you run the ./configure script ? It seems that some options are
missing. Compiling requires the following steps:
1) ./configure
2) gmake depend
3) gmake mldonkey_gui
4) gmake open_mldonkey
Note that you MUST use the GNU make, which is often named gmake on netbsd.
