 Edit downloads.ini, near line 38

>  (* Directories where files will be shared *)
> shared_directories = []


Make it look like:
shared_directories = [
    "/var/music";"/var/movies";"/var/programs"]


Basically, include the directory name in " " and separate multiple
directories with ;'s

make sure this directory is readable by user that owns the mldonkey
process and you should be fine.
