i don't have any problems with emule here, i use pango 20021202 (i think)
it's quite normal that emule clients get more downloads than other clients
coz they represent 77% of them in my stats..
although the download/upload ratio is quite fair between emule and edonkey
clients..
The amazing stat concerns mldonkey client file requests :
File Requests From official mldonkey: 115504 (62.35 %) :)
for a "huge" clients percentage of :
official mldonkey clients : 218 (3.42 %)
=)

i must say i don't download lots of very popular files, mainly anime
episodes and korean hdtv samples
though, i downloaded a very popular file, over 4000 sources, a few days ago
and then i noticed that this patched version of mldonkey was a lot slower
than previous unpatched mldonkey binaries.. anyway i don't really care about
that as long as i get those files overnight, it really makes no difference.

regarding the mldonkey file request stats above i can understand mldonkey
really pissed off some edonkey server/clients developers and motivated them
(lugdunum & emule maybe) to find a way to ban mld clients..

I really hope overnet will solve that kind of problems and of course that
we'll get a faster overnet client for linux :)

About overnet i wanted to ask if someone could explain what represents the
max number of connected clients ?
i'm not sure i really understand how overnet works. I guess it's quite the
same as edonkey p2p management with additional protocol features to avoid
servers..

anyway thanx for the pango patch it realy shows some interesting
informations about the network
later
