Hi.
As everyone knows, mldonkey enforces a min of 10 upload slots, but with
a bandwith of 128kbit/s or even 64kbit/s, this many slots are just plain
nonsense.
So, why not make this number dependant on the bandwidth:
kbytes / 2.5 = min_upload_slots
If one donates 32kbyte/s, mldonkey will not allow the max_upload_slots
to be set any lower than 12.
If one only has 6kbyte/s, then his max_upload_slots would have to be
larger or equal than 2.
