It's becoming more and more popular; it has been slashdotted recently, even.

it  uploads what it has already downloaded, without waiting for the download
to finish. I've played with it a little while -- well, it works, dl rate are
pretty nice.

Protocol  specs  are  publicly available. I know that giving you the idea to
make  it  supported in mldonkey is a lot easier than writing a code ;-) but,
if  there's anybody having some knowledge about ocaml, and with nothing more
interesting to do... ;-)
