[Mldonkey-users] Name resolution

Hi,

as described in the thread "Problem in Bittorrent" I found out that
I have the same problems described there, Bittorrent downloads get 
started (RedHat 9) but stay with 0 sources for hours when donkey 
downloads are running with 30 kb/s (DSL + 2.4rc11).

I am compiling mldonkey multi-net static cores under glibc2.2.5 and 
using it under libc5, so I don´t have *any* support for glibc functions 
here.

Is it possible to circumvent those problems in bringing DNS lookup code 
into the MLDonkey core regardless of the currently used libc-version?
