My +1. Looks like a fine improvement! I like the way you use function
pointers to save some code and it does look much better.

Ps. How are you on the up-event implementation? Have you put it on the
shelf or are you working on it?

Pps. I suggest that we release a new beta with this new code and if we
do not get any complaints we release at Wednesday/Thursday. If you
have time, could you build the beta release, Martin, and put it up on
tildeslash.com and announce the release to the mailing list? I'm
delegating ;-) I'm busy writing a presentation I have to hold on
Tuesday.
