ChangeLog: 


 * track much more thoroughly what happens to mtn automate 
   result generators. Seems to be working remarkably well; 
   partial result reading is now handled properly, so half-
   copleted requests (or mtn processes stuffed up by an 
   exception) shouldn't cause bizarre errors when a later 
   request hits an mtn with unread results.
