ChangeLog: 

* dropped the idea of a separate automate (content|revision)_diff and
replaced it by a generic automate diff, which includes the diffs for
each file in basic_io stanzas (excluding binary diffs for now) 
* renamed "old_revision" stanza  of mtn diff to "base_revision" - this
does now always popup there, not only if one of the revisions is a parent
revision of the other
