ChangeLog: 

* no more REQ_MTN_VERSION, replaced in favor of two INT_VERSION defines,
which are used to set the min required and max allowed interface version
which guitone requires
* removed precompiled header stuff (which makes more problems anyways)
* enabled warnings about unused vars on mac and unix again
* removed commented out win32 code blocks (there is mtn log if anyone
cares about that again) 
* formatting fixes
