ChangeLog: 

* ApplicationUpdate.h/cpp: implement HTTP content fetching without the
SignalWaiter; improve error handling; made the update function work async;
made the dialog itself modal so it is displayed properly above the 
main dialog; added support for skipping a particular version of guitone
so the user is not nagged everytime on each startup
* Guitone.cpp: bugfix: quit() if the preferences dialog was rejected and
no compatible mtn version was selected; the application update 
functionality is now self-contained (moved the "no updates available"
message into the dialog)
* application_update.ui: new button "skip this version"
* SignalWaiter.h/cpp: removed, no longer needed
* guitone.pro: ...removed here as well
* Settings.h/cpp: constified a few arguments; new methods getString and
setString (the other string-based settings methods should probably be
made available via these generic methods as well in the future)
* vocab.h: remove MTN macro (wasn't used for quite some time) and tweaked
a few comments
