ChangeLog: 

* only use the 'm' stream for the command's output, not also the 'l' stream
* drop the error code from every automate command packet and set it only (and 
finally) on the 'l' stream
* changed the unit and lua tests accordingly (slightly improved / reorganized 
the stdio parsing)
* changed the documentation accordingly
