unlikely, but I'll test with resident(1) on dfly these days (it preloads the
executable incl. libraries so every instance just needs to map the sections)

c++ metaprogramming is pretty extensively used in boost and monotone, which is
a killer.
I don't think that's a big problem though, as building the tools shouldn't
happen
that often.
