Is it a shell pattern or a regular expression? The NEWS file
suggests it would be a shell pattern, but the --help output
says ... well, both:
| pull [ADDRESS[:PORTNUMBER] [PATTERN]]
| pull branches matching REGEX from netsync server at ADDRESS
