All that's wrong here is that monotone update .mt-attrs when you said
"rename", but it didn't actually rename the files for you -- we know
this is annoying :-) -- so until you rename the files yourself, you'll
have a attribute that points at a non-existent file, which will make
monotone unhappy.
Solution: just move the on-disk file(s).
In mainline, the error message is much better, as well.
