Hi,
on IRC we just had a discussion with an openembedded developer about
what he's missing in monotone.
After there were only some vague statements on the oe lists already,
there's finally a set of wishlist items (of a single developer, it's not
a project statement of them) that's more precise.
cherry picking
adding changes of a revision to an unrelated tree, incl. renames,
deletes, adds, ...
proper local undo support
"db kill_rev_locally sounds too scary". also needs to be able to delete
entire subtrees of history.
log --local/--remote (or --to-pull/--to-push or whatever)
A method to figure out the revisions that exist locally but not remote,
or in the other direction, incl. their changelog.
log dirname support
monotone log directory doesn't seem to restrict the log output to the
revisions that affect "directory"
readable ids of some sort
a known-hard problem..
faster sync
they still use 0.25, so 0.26 should already improve matters, with more
improvements likely to come, so maybe this is good enough already.
