[Nel] Weird problem with autogen.sh

heya everyone,

after i finally managed to get stlport, autoconf and automake (my 
versions were too old), i run into another problem:

i keep getting this upon calling autogen.sh:

server:/opt/games/mmo/code/nel # ./autogen.sh
+ aclocal
aclocal: configure.ac: 34: macro `AM_PROG_LIBTOOL' not found in library
aclocal: configure.ac: 347: macro `AM_PATH_XML2' not found in library

What's the matter here? Did *i* break something or is the configure.ac 
broken?
