[Nel] 3ds max version compatibility?

On the wikinel, it says that 3ds max version 5.1 is supported by NeL. I was
wondering if 3ds ver.6.0 will work equally well, or has something been
introduced that will make it break the plug-in? 3ds is an expensive software
package and I really want to make sure I'm going to be getting something
useful before spending that kind of money.
