I tried, but when I `add it' to nsswitch.conf it isn't being

used until I reboot and with the debug version the reboot

fails as described previously.

BTW: I've looked in the mysql-logs, but there is no query or other log 

from nss-mysql when i run su/id/getent. It seems like the programs 

hang before nss-mysql connects to the mysql-server.
