[Nss-mysql-users] nss-mysql-root.conf

Hello list,

I got nss-mysql all set up and running (enabled shadow support), but now i'm
wondering what programs could possibly use the /etc/nss-mysql-root.conf
file.
for logging in with ftp, ssh, ... you still need additional tools like
pam_mysql and the proftpd-sql module.
user/group lookups just need the info provided in /etc/nss-mysql.conf.
Everything works great without the nss-mysql-root.conf file too.
chfn, chsh refuse to work with non-passwdfile users.
So i haven't found a program yet that does required the
/etc/nss-mysql-root.conf file.
Can someone tell me what i am missing here :)
