Follow-up Comment #3, bug #34380 (project octave):
After looking through the sources, it appears that the linear scale default,
default_lims(), is being used for logscale axes (i.e. [0 1]).
I was thinking a convenient solution might be ...
lims(0) = pow (10., lims(0));
lims(1) = pow (10., lims(1));
But I don't see where this needs to be done.
