Follow-up Comment #6, bug #35771 (project octave): You tried what? Installing oct2mat? Uninstalling it? How did you install Octave? Are you running Nitzan Arazi's MinGW binary or Michael Goffioul's MSVC binary? Octave doesn't use the Windows registry, so I don't think touching registry keys should have any effect. Try running rehash after changing an m-file. Does this still not read the new contents of the file?
