Follow-up Comment #1, bug #36980 (project octave):
I think that there is wide agreement that the current
fltk/OpenGL-based printing has serious problems. Not only
does it fail when requesting too many or too complex
plots, but since it requires visibility of the plot
it cannot be used for the plots in the Manual, for
example.
It would be great to hear from anyone who knows how
to fix this.
On the positive side, it is my experience that this
printing even in its current state is better than gnuplot.
